Vaping. Do most people ask what is the price of vaping? Or what would happen if I continue vaping?Well, it's easy to say that vaping is not cool.Vaping may sound cool but it’s not and when you and I may look cool while vaping you are hurting your body.
Vaping has killed 39 people. Not only does vaping hurt your organs but vaping also hurts your heart. Nearly one-third of deaths from heart disease are the result of smoking and secondhand smoke (Michael Joseph Blaha, M.D., M.P.H.). So most people who vape don’t know the real cost of vaping.
(Robert H. Shmerling, MD is a Faculty Editor, Harvard Health Publishing of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has created a web page with the latest information on vaping). Mr. Shmerling has estimated around 2.1 million middle schools and high school students reported using e-cigarettes in 2017. That number jumped to 3.6 million in 2018. That is 1.5 million percent in only a year. That’s a huge jump and most people don’t understand how big of a deal vaping can be.
So here is a little tip: The next time you are getting ready to vape think about what you might be doing to your body. Not just the outside but the inside as well. The next time you are tempted to take a puff of that puff bar. Remember what you are doing to your body and think to yourself “ Do I want to deal with the long-term effects of vaping”.
